I got in the WS and had it installed the same day. Now keep in mind that I had a Thermal 2.25" exhaust before the Apexi.
The WS is a very quiet exhaust with a very large tip. The muffler canister is also pretty big and very shiny. The tip was significantly larger than my Thermal tip and had the nice Apexi logo etched on a side. But for some reason, the tip has a hole (which is intended) on the bottom of the tip. I don't know what that hole is for. Overall, though, the appearance of the WS is nice, but it's NOT as nice as my old Thermal. The thermal just looked cleaner and a bit more refined. The WS is also not a full stainless system like the Thermal was so I know time will have it's effect on the WS.
Now about the noise...This exhaust has allowed me once again to listen to the stereo in peace. However, I'm already starting to miss the mean growl of the thermal. But since a deep rumbling car is not very appropriate for when I start medical school, the apexi was a good choice.
I did notice a drop in power compared to my thermal though. Obviously my car is supercharged and the Thermal was ideally suited to it's needs. There was no substantial difference in first gear but I definitely noticed less pull in second and third gears with the WS. Oh well...I guess that's the trade off you have to make.
All in all, I'm happy with this purchase and if noise is a concern, you should definitely look into this exhaust. But if you want shear power...there's not beating the thermal.

My dunk sounded NASTY with the charger on it. It sounded classy though and not ricey. I think it flowed good (maybe not thermal 3" but good) for a 60mm catback. I'm pondering getting rid of mine for some cash and a stocker because the car is stock again and I'm trying to sell it.
